Before the race
- When can I register for the BXL TOUR?
Registration opens on March 22, 2025 on the BXL TOUR website. Individual registrations close on June 21, 2025, and group registrations on June 8, 2025.
- Can I take part in the BXL TOUR if I’m a beginner?
The event is open to everyone, and all participants, whatever their level, are welcome. For example, you can take part with an electric bike in the Ride category on a 32km course. [link categories] So don’t hesitate to join us!
- Where can I pick up my BXL TOUR numbered plates?
INDIVIDUAL numbered plates can be collected from Thursday 22 May at 4 collection points around Brussels:
- Brussels Info Place (BIP) at 2-4 Rue Royale, 1000 Brussels. Every day from 10 am to 6 pm
- At Lucien pick-up points in Ixelles, Anderlecht (10 am to 6 pm) and Woluwe-Saint-Pierre (10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm ), Tuesday to Saturday.
GROUPE numbered plates and jerseys can be collected from 16 June at the following address:
- Hôtel de Ville, Grand Place, 1000 Brussels
- Where can I pick up my BXL TOUR jersey?
You can pick up your jersey at Brussels Info Place, 2-4 Rue Royale, 1000 Brussels, every day from 9am to 5pm. Please bring your e-ticket with you.
- Will there be a merchandise stand on the day of the BXL TOUR?
While stocks last, merchandise will be available from a stand in the finish village at the Atomium.
- What are the rules?
Certain rules are in place to ensure safety and the smooth running of the race.
- Everyone must wear a helmet
- Plates must be hung on the handlebars until the end of the course.
The following are prohibited
- Glass containers,
- Fixed-gear bicycles, electric bicycles with speeds over 25 km/h, tricycles, child seats (except in the RIDE category), trailers, cargo bikes, recumbent bikes, time trial bikes and forearms as support on the handlebars.
- Where does the BXL TOUR race start?
The race starts at Place des Palais and finishes at the Atomium.
The start village, located in the Parc Royal, opens at 7:30 am and closes at 10:30 am
The finish village at the Atomium will open at 9:30 am and closes at 6 pm
- How do I get to the BXL TOUR?
On race day, use public transport (bus, streetcar, metro and train).
If you have to come by car, you can park in Brussels Expo’s Parking T (24 h/24, €10/d, recharging stations), a stone’s throw from the finish village.
Group departures from the finish to the start at 8 am, 8.30 am and 9 am, with police escort.
No parking along the route: respect the signs.
During the race
- Which roads will be closed during the BXL TOUR?
For motorists, we recommend using the Waze or Google Maps application, in which the route will be integrated. Changes will be displayed in real time.
Roads that will be closed during the BXL TOUR:
- Place des Palais: from Saturday 21.06 at 2pm to Sunday 22.06 at 2pm (in both directions).
- Rue Ducale: Sunday 22.06 from 5am.
- Esplanade, Miramar & Place de Belgique from Saturday 21.06 at 10am to Sunday 22.06 at 8pm.
- Rue et tunnel Belliard (), avenue de Tervuren (), bld du Souverain, bld Général Jacques, bld A. Reyers, bld Lambermont, avenue Van Praet, avenue du Parc Royal, A12 freeway exits to Brussels: Sunday 22.06 from 7am to 1pm.
(*) Please note that the Tervuren tunnel will be closed only towards Tervuren, and the Montgomery tunnel only towards Reyers. The Montgomery traffic circle will remain open. Av. Delleur will be open towards ch. de la Hulpe . Av. Lloyd George will open towards Av. Louise, bd Lambermont also towards roundabout Meiser.
After the race
- Where can I find the BXL TOUR results?
Results will be available on the website as soon as you cross the finish line. However, changes may be made if problems arise on race day. Thirty days after the event, all results will be fixed.
- Where can I find photos and videos of the BXL TOUR?
Photos and videos will be available as previews on our website. If you want them in better quality, you can find them on the website of our partner, Sportograf.
