On 14 June, Brussels is no longer a city you cross. It’s a city you ride.
At the rhythm of the peloton, at full speed, in one continuous flow.
The BXL TOUR 2026 is a rare opportunity to ride at high intensity in a performance-driven environment. Over 40 km of fully closed roads, you find your pace, latch onto wheels, and the speed builds naturally.

Table of contents
The BXL TOUR 2026 is designed for riders who want to turn a standard ride into a true race experience, among fellow cyclists, right in the heart of the capital.
A course built for speed, without interruption
For its 10th edition, the BXL TOUR course confirms what makes it so successful: a fast, readable route, ideal for riding in a peloton.
From the very first kilometers, the pace settles in naturally thanks to:
- long straights perfect for putting down power
- wide roads that make positioning easier
- flowing sections that allow for sustained high speed
The route passes through several iconic locations, from Place des Palais to the Atomium, including the Cinquantenaire. It’s designed to reward both power and race awareness.
A pace that leaves no room for hesitation
The BXL TOUR stands out for its strong group dynamics. Very quickly, groups form, the pace stabilizes, and gaps start to open. You benefit from drafting, a steady race tempo, and improved energy efficiency.
Experienced riders typically average between 30 and 35 km/h, while more competitive cyclists push 35 to 40 km/h and beyond. A fast course, but a demanding one, where performance depends as much on your legs as on your positioning in the bunch.
They’ve experienced it from the inside. Here’s what awaits you:
The Tissot Sprint: a strategic moment
Towards the end of the course, a dedicated segment adds extra intensity to the race: a 1.5 km Tissot Sprint section in front of the Royal Palace of Laeken. This is a key opportunity to:- test your acceleration,
- drop your team mates,
- and go all out !
An intense finale and an iconic finish
A few kilometers later, the intensity ramps up again as you approach the Atomium, where you’ll cross the finish line. Take the time to recover, share your race… and celebrate your performance in a lively finish village with a range of food options.
This year, Philippe Gilbert, Ekoï ambassador, will present the prizes to the winners.
